"Ghostriding the blip" came from the pre-tiger days and exploits a glitch in the matrix. If you created a new post with a title but no content then the post showed up on the Oppo main page without showing which author wrote it. Since the author was effectively a ghost it became known as ghostriding the blip.

Looking at it though, it seems the new ghostride the blip isn't as good as the original. Clicking on the post doesn't reveal the author like it used to, and it looks like you can't comment on a blip post. Kinda lame.
